These are a seemingly rare species of bullfrog known as the "anura-canis" and are unclassified as a species. Scientists have also contemplated that this rare type of amphibian has occured with a frog being brought up with a pack of wolves. This is similar to the boy known as "werewolf boy" who snarls and bites: He escaped from a Moscow clinic just a day after being rescued from the wild. Doctors expressed shock saying he was found living with a pack of wolves in a remote forest in the Kaluga region of central Russia. Off in the opposite direction, some sourcerers and gypsies have claimed that this type of bullfrog is simply a dog which has been reincarnated as a frog. Either way, we will never know quite for sure- it draws similarities to the battle between science and religion.
